It’s going to be a hot one….

This Saturday looks set to be the hottest day of the year so all the more reason to get an early start and visit the market before the temperatures sore.

You should bring your blunt knives with you this week as our superstar sharpener, Nick the Knife, will be back at the market.

We also welcome back Emergent Jewel’s Susan Bores with her unique handmade jewelry.

Rounding off the guest vendor line up is Daffodil Press with their children’s books, Lilymoore Farm with their alpaca yarn and knitted goods and Harvest Spirits are back to share their amazing apple based liquors and vinegar’s.

We are excited to have Arizona Lindsey play on the band stand this Saturday. Lindsey has a sweet-sounding, angelic voice combined  with a passionate vocal performance, and heartfelt and powerful lyricism. She is sure to add a cool, crisp note to a hot day.


Pick up a picnic for the community day!

Are you going to the Pawling Community Day? Why not stop by the market and pick up a selection of goodies for your picnic hamper. A little cheese, bread, olives, tomatoes and maybe a few cookies for dessert!


You can also check out our guest artisans.  This Saturday we welcome back photographer Lori Adams, The Slab Pottery and landscape painter Jeanne Plekon.


There will also be a children’s book reading by Daffodil Press. Music will be provided by Doug Mahard

We welcome Perry Hill Farm to the village green this Saturday, they will be selling a range of their herbal products from soaps to salves. Amy Brenner returns to showcase her finely detailed ceramics that are both decorative and functional. Harvest Spirits and Lilymoore Alpaca Farm complete the line up.

Our outstanding vendors will also be selling a range of fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese, eggs, bread, pickles, preserves, meat, mushrooms and flowers among many many other things. Stop by the market this Saturday morning and treat yourself to some of the best produce money can buy.

Music will be provided by The Sawtelles.


Pottery, plants, books and more…

Who would like to try their hand at pottery wheel throwing? Drew Montgomery of Montgomery Pottery will be giving a demo at the market this Saturday, who knows you may have a hidden talent!

The Oblong Land Conservancy will be giving away free milkweed plants (Asclepias incarnata and tuberosa) to all who come by their booth on Saturday, be sure to get there early to claim your free plant.


We have 4 guest artisans this Saturday. Children’s book publishers Daffodil Press, The Slab ceramicist Kathleen Heidemann, Vintage Terrarium and Taconic Distillery will also be back.


Music will be provided by Mark Miller – guitarist, composer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Mark has worked in a variety of styles including Jazz, Folk, Country, Americana, Blues and Rock.

If your kids love to draw and color then we have just the ticket with a Scribble Art workshop. Let their creative minds run wild!

We are excited to introduce a new guest vendor, Nubibinu.  They make small batch handmade soaps using herbs and plant oils, no artificial ingredients and they look amazing too.


Vintage Terrariums and Emergent Jewel both make a return to the village green to share their creative designs with our market shoppers.


Taconic Distillery handcraft their award-winning bourbon and rye whiskies. Pick up a bottle and celebrate the weekend.

Opening Day – June 15

The Farmer’s Market returns to the village green on Saturday June 15 with a mix of attractions for both young and old!

The Two by Two Petting Zoo is back and better than ever, with a kangaroo, goats, rabbit, tortoise, snake, bearded dragon, chickens, and a pot-bellied pig!

We are also excited to welcome a new guest vendor Broken Bow Brewery  They will have a range of their craft beers for you to sample and buy.

Jeanne Plekon (landscape painter) and Lori Adams (photographer) will provide a creative flare to opening day with a selection of their artwork and note cards, prints and books to peruse and purchase. Finally, we welcome back our friends at Lilymoore Farm with their beautiful alpaca yarn and goods.

Bob Stump will be playing his country music bluegrass in the bandstand.

Last and by no means least, the main attraction will of course be our vendors who have been busy growing, baking, roasting and pickling a wonderful selection of produce for our enjoyment.

We asked, you answered, we listened! Our survey says – ‘Keep the market open for longer’ and this year, that’s exactly what we will do. We are extending the market by two weeks. Our season begins on June 15 and will run every Saturday morning from 9-1pm until October 12.

Thank you to everyone who responded to the survey, your feedback is vital in continuing to strengthen the role the market plays in our special community that is Pawling.
