Thank you for a great season

30 Sep

Many thanks to the vendors, artisans, and shoppers who made our 2018 season a success! The final Saturday is always bittersweet, marking the end of summer and the days of meeting friends old and new on the Village Green each week, but we hope you’ve made some great memories (and recipes).

While you may have heard that a farmer’s market will continue on the Green, please be aware that it’s organized by another group and has no connection to the Pawling Farmer’s Market.

A pre-Thanksgiving event is in the works and additional details will be posted on our website and social media as they become available.

The last Farmer’s Market of the season!

28 Sep

This Saturday will see another successful season draw to a close. This is your last chance to stock up on all the wonderful produce from our local farmers and artisans. Let’s make this weekend the best market day of the year, let’s go out with a bang!

  • ArtEast Dutchess will be on hand to share information about their upcoming open studio tour. If you are lucky, you may also get to see a Plein Air painting demo as well!
  • Daffodil Press authors Carol Paterno and Doris Tomaselli will have their popular and wildly funny children’s books, so why not pick up a few for the upcoming holidays?

Music will be provided by Ron Renninger at the bandstand.

Saturday September 8

7 Sep

It’s September, the leaves are starting to change color, the temperatures are cooling and the market will soon be closed for the 2018 season. It’s not all doom and gloom – we still have four more market days to savor the wonderful offerings from our vendors, whether that be bread, coffee or corn! Come to the market this Saturday and pick up your favorite produce whilst you can.

We are excited to welcome back Emergent Jewel and the Oblong Land Conservancy. Stop by their information table to hear about their latest initiatives to preserve our landscape and open spaces.
